hey guysi bought an apexi n1 from anthony and after he installed it, it was great except the gasket was leaking. (we didnt replace it with a new one cause we forgot to buy one) I got that fixed by a mechanic and ever since, the tip has been hitting the back bumper and rattles, something i didnt hear after anthony installed it. when this mechanic replaced the gasket (by the dummy cat and the hs header) he let the exhaust "drop" when the screws were unscrewed. Because of this, the ground cable is ripped in half and he didn't replace it (i was watching the whole time). could my exhaust be rattleing because my hangers are "stretched" (if thats possible)? last time i had the car on the lift, the hangers didnt look ripped, but could they maybe be stretched out from when the mechanic let my exhaust drop like that? ugh what a crappy job from now on i'm going to buy a lift and do the work myself or let the mechanic at my uncles shop do it.. this guy fixed one problem but made two (broken ground and rattling tip) Should I replace the hangers or will that be a waste of money? i can here the exhaust rattle on startup aswell as every bump on the road. stupid question i'm sure, but i cant afford to spend money on something if it wont do anything.

Apzak, you are having all kinds of problems with your car aren't you? What are you going to do about your rust problem? And the exhaust rattle, I would at least try to get new hangers bushings or whatever you want to call them. See if that helps. My Hiper doesn't hit or rattle, and I know it moves around alot cause I've seen it (when someone else is driving, obviously).

haha well i'm going to put body filler, primer, stuff to take care of the rust, paint, and clear coat.. that'll be asap because i need to paint before it gets cold. doesnt seem as bad as i thought once i stipped it to metal. but yea my grandma has like 3 jack lifts in her garage so i'm going to ask her if i can have one, then i can work on my car and take care of everything. so many little things..
i figure the hangers are worn because this is like the 4th time i swapped exhaust systems.. yea george-o.. i love your sig too.. nothing says cool like an open diff.. goddamn look how much smoke one tires putting out imagin you had lsd
