Hey all, Just heared from SR20 guys that you give 1mm extra bore when you're ordering apexi head gasket, does this apply to RB26 head gasket??

is Apexi the best head gasket in the market, do you take it over Tomei, cosworth??

I would order a Tomei or Cosworth. I haven't even heard of anyone with an Apexi gasket on an RB. I honestly didn't know they made them.

we run apexi gaskets on just about every built motor we put out at MA, they work VERY well and have had zero issues with them.
as far as the bore goes, order what matches your motor, if you order an overbore gasket for a stock bore you may have sealing problems.

thanks guys
buy APEXI period. Apexi uses a Full Grommet style, which means that the cylinder sealing is a full ring that encapsulates all three layers. This is the best possible protection for your engine.
that's what makes me look at apexi.
