I am in no way posting this to bash NenGun or Apexi, I just wanted to let anyone else know who has ordered this recently about the problem. Ordered my PowerFC and Hand Commander from NenGun back in April but havent received it yet and heres why.
Here is the response from NenGun regarding the delay.

"Thank you for your order with Apexi, unfortunately we haven't received in supply the Apexi Power FC and New Hand Controller by the end of June as notified earlier by our Apexi distributor. For some, you have waited a long time, several months in fact and others have just recently ordered. You have received delay notifications and new updates and unfortunately we have not been able to meet these deadlines. We sincerely apologize for these hassles, as I'm sure all of you are desperately wanting your part.

We are also desperately wanting these parts for you. We have been in several discussions with our Apexi distributor and we are so very sorry to say there has not yet been a new confirmed date when these will be arriving in stock.

Please understand we are trying to do everything we can to get the Apexi parts! We have been made to understand that there is a problem with the new Hand Controller. Apexi are working very hard to ensure all Hand Controllers are fixed but it is taking time. Please remember this problem is world wide, so every Apexi order has been delayed.

We ask that you please continue to be patient as Apexi resolve the issue. As always, we will keep you updated as to when your part may arrive. "

what do you want one of those junk things for anyway? I dont like the Power FC. I have used much more efficient stand-alones

Id get a refund and go another route. Think of it as a sign from the car gods

I dont understand why business's will still allow customers to order parts knowing that they dont have the f***ing part and dont know when the hell they will get it. I see it happen all the time and it happened to me twice in a row when i was trying to get brake pads.

small business do it becasue they want to drop ship stuff to reduce overhead. Which makes sense but you have to be able to at least get the parts haha. It happens every once in a while with stuff stateside but getting stuff JDMland is much more difficult. Plus the language barrier makes it increasingly difficult.

Like I said. Get yout money back and go another route. If they are having prollems, why would you want the parts anyway? And why dont you just buy one that is already in the country? Unless its something new that I dotn know about. I gave up on the Power FC long long ago.

Asked them if i could just get the unit with the old hand commander and should hear back today. If not I'm gonna have to do something different for time being/permanently. Thought about just getting a JWT or Enthalpy tune so it will be driveable while I wait OR buy a used PowerFC OR AEM EMS.

Koshin sounds like your a fan of the EMS. Any advice/ input regarding the EMS. Got any pics of the SR swapped sprite, would love to check that out. Always been a fan of bugeyes and MG's since my dad had a couple when I was young.

The AEM EMS is my favorite stand alone by far. It offers a usability that is unparalled. Its easy enough to use if youre doing the tuning yourself...youll need a GM 5 bar MAP sensor and an IAT sensor to use it properly, but I would imagine if youre going standalone anyway youre not using a MAF....

Ill make a thread for the Sprite soon enough. Its a work in progress haha

Don't rule out a haltech either, very easy to install, just plug in the patch harness and run the wires for the map and iat through the firewall. The software is great, its very easy for someone that has never done their own tuning to figure out and use. Also haltech never had the issues with reading the optical cas sensors that nissan uses, unlike the aem. (the main reason I ended up with the haltech, they got their sh*t right the first time)

You can also go to haltech's web site and download the latest version of the software for free, that way you can go ahead and start to familiarize your self with the software. You might be able to do the same thing with the aem, I haven't ever looked in to it, but its worth a shot.

Edit: The power fc is garbage, and I can only imagine how infuriating it is to tune with that little a** screen on the hand commander.

Thanks for the input guys. As far as having to tune with the hand commander I will not be using it. If I still go the FC route i have the FC dataloggit that plugs into a laptop just like the other two. Main reason I went with the FC is that my buddy used AEM, I meant greddy E-manage, on his 350z TT and FC with dataloggit on his FD3S and liked it more. But I do plan on tuning it myself before taking it to a shop for an even better tune.
