I'm planning on to buy a exhaust for my s13 and don't know which one to get. I like both the gt-spec and the n1 dual. Anyone have any experiences with them. Which one sounds better and which one produces the more horsepower? Which one would you recommend? Thanks.

dont get the GT spec unless your planning on going forced induction with your KA; even at that, id only get it if your planning on pushing a decent amount of boost(for ATLEAST over 300whp).

Normal 3" piping is good enough for well over 400whp, so stick with the N1 Duals, their hott. If you dont want to buy "name-brand" you can get the knockoff SSAC N1 Duals for about $200 shipped like mentioned above.

Thats my .2c

Performance gains are around the same,You wont feel any differents between the two,Just get the one you think looks best on your car,I like GT Spec more,Its stainless steel piping..And im sure its alot lighter then the N1 duals to.That exhaust is so heavy!

I have the GT spec, its freaking huge, remember its larger than 3 inch piping. it hangs somewhat low, lower than my RS*R ExMagII did and it was 3 inch. It scrapes alot and im not even that low. It sounds pretty decent but I dont like the large canister. btw this is on a CA powered 240, so I cant answer your questions about how it will sound on a KA.

Alright now, will the n1 dual be suitible with a sr20det, because I'm planning on to do a sr swap in the long run? I heard how the n1-dual sounded like, but in far distance only and had never heard the gt-spec before. The n1 dual from far distance sounded a little like the Subaru WRX STI; anyone agrees with me? Have anyone heard the skunk2 mega-power exhaust yet? Does the gt-spec sound silmilar to the skunk2 mega power? If it does, I personally would go with the n1-dual. Thanks.
