Apexi Exhaust Question

My friend got the apexi N1 for his WRX and he told me the N1 he got is bigger for turbo cars compare to the N1 that is for NA cars... so i was wondering if the Duel N1, is it duel NA N1s or is duel Turbo N1s?

I'm not 100% sure about this ... someone please correct me if i'm wrong and there is no such thing as Turbo N1 and NA N1...

If I'm not mistaken, I think the ApexI exhausts for 240s are both 3" piping, which would be more suitable for turbo applications. If you want the same muffler design the HKS Hiper is a good one to get, and the piping is for NA cars(2.5" or somewhere around there). Might want to double check this info though.

yes both N1 and Dual N1 exausts for the 240sx have 3" piping (the dual splits into 2 2.25 inch piping i belive)

Apexi makes a n\a version exhaust thats 2.5" , i dont think the duals come in 3" though i might be mistaken.

So i'm not so good with what's good piping size... can someone just answer this question... will the duel N1 work with the SR20DET's turbo engine?Thanks~

ive seen a number of SR swapped 240s with the dual N1s.

doesn't sound too bad. a little more raspy than most exhausts ive herd on JDM cars. but then again most exhausts over here seem to sound more raspy. the sound is still distinctively SR20

the only apex-i N1 i looked at buying was 70mm piping which is approx. 2.75 inches

yeah the ApexI exhausts will work with the sr, they bolt right up.
