I just installed my apexi avc-r yesterday and thought i would show a great place to put the solenoid. the manual wants it away from high heat and keep the lines as short as possible.

i didnt want to put it on top of my fender well, because the vaccuum lines would have had to been long and messy. i saw the harness going to the brake master cylinder behind the strut tower and saw a small hole it used for a fastener. i pulled the fastner out and lined up the bracket for the solenoid, looked like a perfect fit. its a very tight spot so i removed the spring and strut assembly and marked off where to drill the holes from inside the strut tower, using the bracket off the solenoid. i ended up using thick zip ties to secure it. with the rubber "gasket" they supply it hardly can move.

well this answers my question in ur 500hp thread. i guess i will also have to ask for interior pictures as i would think the only place to put that thing would be right under the safc with like velcro if im not mistaken.
