Should i waste my time hooking up my apexi s-afc on a rb25det or is is useless with that motor?

Not usless at all, and it's much cheaper then standalone...

For a piggyback it's a great unit, if you are buying new you might want to wait until the SAFC II gets to the states, it has some extra features including a knock monitor hookup, very schweet.

Is the SAFC II ideal for tuning a Z32 or Q45 MAF on the RB25DET? I'm not sure which piggyback system i want to choose when i hook up the MAF.

The SAFC is GREAT on the RBs. You can all but tune the flat spot @~4500rpm out of them.They typically run mid 11afr, and on good gas you can take this to 12.5s and make a BUTT LOAD more power.Std Spec2 motor with filter/exh and std boost, will run 180-190kw ATW no probs.. with a AFC.. well over 200kwATW. and then add boost.....

i have an safc2 but is it worth it 2 put it on if im going 2 upgrade my injectors 2 550cc when i install the turbine upgrade? if it is still good do i need 2 buy a 300zx maf or q45 maf? when i do the upgade?

Your gonna need the MAF to be able to run injectors that large believe me I know from experience.
