new to nissan and drifting wondering if Apex n1 type pro coilovers are good for drifting? is anybody running them are they stiff enough? Someone want to sell me a set for my 91 240 for 1200, he said he ran them for 4 months and never took them on the track. Or i can get the tein drifts for like 1250? Whats the better deal

You are really gonna have to give people more information than that unless you enjoy extremely vague responses or getting flamed for your newbishness. Is it gonna be street driven? Why is this person selling them?, etc will help people to answer your question. Very high rates are excellent for drifting, but will suck *** on the street. What are the specs on the n1's? I cant find them anywhere. the teins have 10 and 8 spring rates which are way too high for the street in my opinion. Howerver, such rates would be great for drifting. Any reliable, decently stiff, very adjustable coilover system for you 240 will be good for drifting.

sorry for the newbyiness, car will be street driven and i cant find the spring rates either he says hes selling them because he got rid of his 240, The coilovers our on G-dimension.com but no spring rates our on there I was really hoping to find someone who has used them or rode in a car with them, so i could get a opionion on them(overall quality, good price, how streetable they are, etc....)

well apexi is known for making good stuff, but the lack of specs sucks. In all honesty, kts is a great choice. I have had them on my car for about 3 weeks and they are great. 8kg f and 6kg r. Im not gonna lie and say that they are comfy, cause they are quite stiff, but its nothing that you cant easily get used to, and they will not make ur kidneys hurt or any of that. They will give you a great range of adjusability and will make your car handle great. I wont give advice on the apexi ones(cause i dont know enough about them), but I am a happy kts owner. They are only like 1100 too, which is good
