New to drifting someone wants to sell me apex N1 pros for 1200 said they used them for 4 months and never took them to the track. good deal? how are they for drifting? or I could get Tein drift for like 1200-1300. which one is the better deal? is anyone running the apex n1 pros on there car for drifting?

from the sound of it it dosent seem like you know much if anything about drifting. there is no coilover that is specifically good at drifting. "tein super drift" is a bunch of crap. while im sure its a quality coilover, its just some stupid marketing to be calling them super drift. you might want to think a little more about how serious you want to get with your car, as you deffinitley do not NEED coilovers to drift, and 1200+ dollars is not cheapo.

back on point

either of thoes coilover systems are good. and i would deffinitley get the apex units over the tien.

from what i understand the stiffer the better as long as you can handle the stiffness when daily driving. If 1200 hundred is high for the used apex then what is a good price? is anyone running the N1 pros?

i've seen people drift on the stock suspension... if you're a good driver, you don't need anything to help you.

I know this but knowone is really answering my question are the apex n1 pro any good as far as quality, and are they ideal for drifting, also what is a good price for a set that has been used for 4 months? Has anyone ever had these on their car? how do they compare to the tein sideways masters or whatever the new name is for their drift suspension. Also my suspension is shot on the car right now that is why i am trying to decide on a new set of coilovers

to break side ways in no way do you need coilovers. stiff suspension is just so the car doesnt slop around while trying to toss the car left and right. if the apex pros are in good condition id take that over any tein anyday.

if you want to drift get a really tight seat and a 2-way clutch type lsd. and thats if you're serious. get friendly with the used tire guys.

yeah, i would definately take the apexi units over tein, depending on the condition of the used ones. believe me, you can blow a set of shocks in 4 months if you drive like an idiot. make sure the used ones are still in great conditon before you decide to buy them.

as long as there's no physical damage to the outside of the apexi units, i'd take the apexi units ANY day over the tein super drift crap twin tube most likely underdamped and oversprung for public roads... besides you can get the shocks servied at apexi USA for coupla hundred bucks.
