How well does your engine run with this standalone system? I have heard stories of rough idles, bad gas mileage, loud engines.

I thought the PFC was supposed to solve those issues. :?

What does your car idle at? What's your gas mileage?Any unusual sounds? Are you pleased with the PFC overall?

Pros? Cons?

I hope this thread answers alot of questions for future reference.

The Power FC is like anything, set it wrong and it won`t do a bit of good. It`s not as good as a full standalone but it is a quality peice and when proper set will make you happy. They only get goofy if you have a engine that requires extra steps by a Power FC dealer like the RB20DET or CA18DET, the RB25DET is an off-the-shelf item.

IT require FULL set up to work correctly and hooked up correctly. Some of the wiring conversion do not povide the proper voltage and grounds to make it work correctly.. A high quality product, but needs attention to work correctly,,

Mack can you go into more detail about this? I have the power fc on the way for my rb25 (550cc's, q45 maf....) so I need it to run my car.

What do I need to do besides the basic 8 step to get my PFC to work right?

I had no idea this was a problem.
