My clip came with one of these and it looks dirty as hell. Does anyone know if these are cleanable? Do they need to be oiled or just washed with water? Any advice much apreciated!

if it's foam toss it but i think apexi filters are made out of K&N like material. If so you can clean it. (wavy cloth behind a screen) go to http://www.apexi.com and click on that air filter picture at the bottom... it might say there as well

never mind... here ya go.

"The dual funnel Power Intake evolved from the highly successful Super Intake. Subtle refinements in the design and filter element resulted in a 10% reduction in pressure drop. Utilizing an upper and lower funnel, the Power Intake reduces air turbulence within the filter and creates smooth air flow into the throttle body. The Power Intake is a maintenance-free dry-type air filter and will alleviate the problem of filter oil from "wet" air cleaners interfering with the air-flow meter. Accept no imitations. "

I don't know if that means you can clean it or not...

NO- NOT LIKE K&N! K&N ARE OILED COTTON GAUZE, YOURS IS DRY PAPER. No, you can't clean it, but yes, replacement elements can be bought from A'pex. Probably it will be harder if it is the older version. The replacement filters are damn expensive though, but maybe it's worth it to you.
