Hi i was wondering which exhaust is a better value for the money... i have it narrowed down to either the Apex'i N1 dual or single but i was wondering if the dual was worth the extra money for the performance ... i know that having two smaller pipes will allow for more velocity with an equal flow but i was wondering how the apexi N1 single did on a turbo'd engine either KA or SR

Mmmmmm.......I have a dual and I love it to death. I bought it at phase2motortrend. At the time I bought it(2 months ago) it was the best deal I could find for the dual. I payed 520 w/shipping. I love mine, makes a great rumble. I would think the single might do slightly better because it is slightly larger diameter piping.

HolyShiznit, in your sig it says you ran 15.3 @ 91.1 on a stock 240? Anybody else find that hard to believe?

As for which exhaust to get, I bet you really wouldn't be able to tell much of a difference between the two. Exhaust is a mod where unless you are making a lot of power, the gains won't make themselves too apparent.

I just got my ApexI n1 Single and it sounds real good. Granted I have a n/a 240 right now but it'll be turbo someday. Theres a great guy on ebay selling them with perfect feedback. I paid 454 shipped, arrived in a few days, really awesome deal.

My car DID run what I have it at. I only got two runs that day and my first was a 15.4 @ 86.99. I will scan in my timeslip to prove it.

I don't blame ya, most people couldn't believe it at the track either......

Alright, lets see it. Because with 155 HP (with a DE) I don't think there's even a way to break the 15s, much less a 15.3.

i do- my first vr6 hit a high 14 with intake/chip/exhaust and some sticky-*** 215/45R15 Toyos. (yes, it had more displacement and more cylinders, but it was also FWD and only 2 valves per.)

Will the Apexi Dual N1 exhaust work with both the KA and the SR engines? I'm really interested in getting it, but I need to know if it will work well with both engines, because I plan on swapping in the near future. Thanks.

ummmm. s13 240's run a 15.7-16.0 bone stock so.....I can beleive him. my car ran a [email protected] w/ only intake, no cat stock piping, and stupid rice can. 143 rwhp. Don't worry I have slips and dyno charts somewhere too.

I don't have a scanner so i can't post my slip. And I'm not gonna waste my time and money to prove to one person that it can be done. Just ask the Atlanta guys. Russ Goggins, Frankie Overbay (boy he was pissed when i beat him), Jason Stonebreaker (of unstable hybrids) they were all there. Hell i think one of them has it on video. But here is my dyno chart. Although it doesn't prove anything either seeing as it doesn't say the car type on it much less the mods.

Woodburn dragstrip doesnt do night drags, it was a cool day. Plus, that the by far the best 1/4 in the NW, you can hook up soo freakin well on that track.

Uhhh, last time I checked, bone stock s13's ran 16.3-16.5's. I'm sure many people would agree with me on this, I'm not just being ignorant.

Nah you aren't ignorant. You are just going on what a whole bunch of people have said. A lot of people run high 15's on DE's if they can drive worth a sh*t but it's all good. Ya belive me now though? :icesangel

back to the topic, i think the N1 will give a turbo car better performance but dont let the price fool u cause the exhaust is all one large peice so it cost about $100 to ship ontop of the price. the dual is two peices so its not as expensive to ship. i think $454 shipped of ebay is a great price
