I got a free avc-r with complete harness with my car and im deciding if i schould do it or get a shop to....i been reading the manuel on it and it seems difficult and very tricky....so my question is...who has one of these and how hard was it to install?

If it seems difficult and tricky I would suggest you take it to someone that has more experience with wiring.

If you know how the electronics work then you can simplify it by installing it with power, ground, and hooking up the solenoid box. The wiring to the ECU is for all of the other features the AVC-R has.

Last I checked, Apexi has a wiring diagram for the PS13 on their website.

Good rule of thumb. If you have to ask, then get some 1 to do it for you.

Ya i was reading that, i really like the features it has and being a got it free with the car....its hard to go wrong installing it. I'll find someone around my city who knows how to wire these better than i do.

When trying to splice wires into your ecu and you have never done it or sounds like he never has. Then i would leave it up the the pros, unless you feel like screwing your ecu then have at it.
