IDK about NEO but that it's just the same thing as the SAFC II with a VSAFC built into it so it works for hondas and all others cars... So I'd say on a Nissan it should compair to my SAFC II perfectly.... It's a useful tool... but one thing to note.. YOUR ALWAYS FIGHTING THE ECU. If you lean it out, the ECU will read that the car is lean from the 02 sensor, then add fuel. IF you add fuel the ECU will read that you are rich from the ECU and will lean itself back out. This will happen any time the car is running within the limits of the O2 sensor. And why you need a wideband O2 sensor to run a fuel controller properly. Where it really helps is if your car isn't running properly and you cant figure out why... you can pretty much override any a/f problem with this thing. Cause if it's not running right that means the ECU can't adjust itself enough and needs help. The 02 sensor (being as it is a narrowband and all) can only adjust the A/F ratio so much.
But, if you have a z32 MAF or some other mix combination this is EXACTLY what you need.
What I use mine for mostly is a diagnostic tool. You can affect the power and fuel mileage to a small degree with an otherwise stock engine/etc but if you go anymore than ~5% with it the ECU just adjusts and totally negates all your changes...
And as for install... for a KA it's kinda hard to figure out the right wires because Apexi doesn't provide a diagram for these engines... only sr's and rb's. But using the FSM it's easy to figure out. I installed mine and my friends in under 30 min each. And average joe wise... it's pretty simple to use if you read the instructions THOUROUGHLY. If you don't have the instructions then you can d/l the PDF at apexi's website. Fairly simple once you understand what it all is and what it all means and does.
