I thought I had too much time to spend on the toilet. Seriously though. I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I have an APC shift knob. Before the flames start, the leather one that came stock got hard and started tearing, and cut my hand. The apc one was cheap and simple. It's brushed aluminum and has a little carbon fiber bit on top. It looks tasteful, doesn't light up, and the carbon fiber is REAL. It's smaller than a dime though.

I'm against everything APC.You can call it being close minded, but heres my reasoning:They only sell stereotypical, low quality crap. They carry tail lights, mufflers, wings, nitrous, and glow in the dark muffler tips. The APC name doesn't give a sh*t about the industry, or what they pollute it with. All they care about is peddling little items to make a quick buck. It hurts the consumer with the low quality, and it hurts other producers whose customers go to the cheaper source.

I'm not against tail lights, wings, etc... , I'm just against this certain company.Ask anyone who has bought APC tails or exhaust. I'm sure they will be able to tell you about water leaking in the lights, and rust forming on the exhaust.In all honesty though, I have heard nothing but good about VENOM nitrous.

*whew*... I've been holding that in ever since pages 72-73 of Import Tuner #44....

On that topic I am looking for a short ram intake by apex but I don't think they make one for the s13...

she's talking about her probe(pgt). and the mini filters are the biggest waste of 10 bucks IMO. it probably just does more harm than good.

Well yea but I needed something to cap off the rubber pipe that connects to the stock airbox which was removed.

had to file down the rubber fitting really push it in there then clamp it off

i had a big project going a while ago, where i was going to do something like that short ram intake in the installs section. i was going to relocate the battery to the trunk, saw my injen pipe down, and put intimidators on all the holes where vacuum lines connected. i decided it wasn't worth it, and i couldn't figure out a way to mount my battery back there. i also couldn't get the APC filters on the holes, so that's another reason i gave up.

Like someone said on the earlier thread...APC and all other ghetto, big blingin wanna be products are FINE WITH ME because they make the tasteful cars (such as mine! :ylsuper ) look THAT much better!

Just think....without them, what would we make fun of?

umm...god----damn it their name is APC for crying out loud need i say more hmmm...import cars last longer then you do while domestic cars (for our international audience, american cars) last as long as a new born sea turtle (which his about from the shell that it hatched from to the bottom of a segals stomach) in comparsin from the time you purched the product to the time you put it on your car it goes to hell! OH NO you guys might wana watch it...there could be an APC site around here and somebody could be getting offended...:evilhaha

I'm just confused about their name... it stands for American Products Company..... right?

Yet they market (mostly) to the import scene. Now I understand the national pride thing and all..... you know, "Buy American"! But they are targeting an audience that has already made their biggest automotive investment from overseas! They bought an IMPORT... do they really think these consumers care about the AMERICAN aspect of APC? And are we really to believe any self respecting american company actually makes those tiny little Tino filters?!!

PGT = Probe GT

And no, it wasn't the mini filter, it was the full sized cone intake filter.
