Poor center console... poor windshield... poor door... poor trunk... Oh my heart has just been broking...

Secondly.. if you pay 100 dollars for seats, I think you should just be glad theyre not broken in 12 pieces.

that's where I agree. Don't really want to flame the guy since people have different tastes and his just happens to be awful and I wish that s13 would go to a better owner. and secondly, I would not trust APC stuff ever, espically safety equipment like seats.

It's a driver awareness thing. Alot of people who have problems fallng asleep behind the wheel do things like that. If the start to doze off they can just stare at the bezel for a moment and WHAM!! wide awake.

I bet whenever that car is parked in a crowded parking lot the other cars give it noogies and wedgies.

The graphics look like some that would have came on a new Neon in the early to mid '90's...

I agree with LEMHEAD's driver awareness comment. I bet that 240 has HUD that doesn't work, so the bright neon green plastic lights up his guages at night.

Stop knocking the ricers. Geez, that's what keeps me from posting pics of my car, hahaha.

240's are cheap *** cars. They are the "favorite tuner cars of Japan" just like the civic is over here.

Anyway, to answer your question rivra240sx, pretty much all bottom mount reclinable seats w/ the brackets (apc, wedge, sparco, what have you) will sit you about 2" higher w/ sliders.

The best you can do is take out the sliders, which will bring it to 1".

If you are really daring, you can try to shave off some of the foam from the seat to get it even lower, but that is your call as you can destroy your seat by accident.

Your only hope is to customize the bracket (which isn't too possible since our cars have that hump), try to get a bride super low bracket (I'm not sure if those fit reclinables), or get some bucket seats w/ super low brackets.

Then you can use the reclinables as couches .

Woo Hoo for me :-0I was just thinkin and this is my Estemated HP i will have after the mods are onStock Engine 2.4L 156 hp I4Headers + 15HP (I hope)HKS Fireball Exaust + 10HPNISMO Air Filter +6HPMSD (Will MSD Give you HP??? IDK)

So I'm hopin to have around 187HP after the whole first set of mods. Which is around the base HP of a stock SR20DET motor i think

So he's off by about 15-20 hp.......

Ok ok, I can't defend him there, HAHA. We were all there at one point or another and in one form or another.

Well, like one of our nicoclub members has in his sig:

This is for all of the professional racers/drifters out there who know everything there is to know. The seats that come from the car manufacturer may be good for around town driving but they were never intended for racing. Each aftermarket seat is manufactured with a different purpose in mind. Some seats were designed for extra support for street driving, some for autocross, some for racing. Be sure you know the difference! Just because a seat has cut-outs for harnesses, doesn't necessarily mean that it can withstand a high speed crash. Seats with articulated backs were generally not designed for racing. Seats designed for autocross were not designed to withstand the forces of a 120 mph crash into a concrete barrier. If you wish to be as safe as possible, look at what the professional race drivers use. In NASCAR you will find aluminum seats with rib supports, helmet supports and leg extensions. In road racing you will find Kevlar/Carbon Fiber seats as well. Each of these professional drivers have their seat flow-fitted for added support and safety. Experience has told us that fiberglass seats get brittle with age and tend to break under impact. I would stay away from this type of fabrication for speeds exceeding an autocross

look for seats with FIA or TUV homogolation. FIA homogolation is not as strict as the TUV process, and reclinable seats can have a FIA homogolation. TUV homogolation seats are rated to a higher standard, and a reclinable seat fails instantly because the folding back can seperate from the base in a high speed crash. Of course homogolated seats cost more, but you get what you pay for, and in the case of seats you want the best you can afford, since they protect your life on top of holding you into your car

Edit: i just realized i posted into a really old thread. oh well...

Best way to make those seats fit...Sell them.

And buy fruit baskets to sit on.
