I think the cable is loose, I originally thought it had brocken, but somehow I put 4 miles on today, so something triggered it to start working. Also how hard is it to get to the cable attached to the transmission. Someone said that they though the odometer was electronically controlled.

This has me wondering if it is tied into the second problem which is my button won't engage the Over drive. And it is not that it needs warmed up as it didn't work at all on a 145 mile trip. The car is ok 100% once these 2 problems are fixed. Please Help me.
