I tried disconnecting the negative battery cable for 20 mins and no luck. I reset it to default settings and no luck.

My navigation arrow is still frozen in 1 spot. I am running out of solutions.

Can anyone give me ideas or opinions on what to do?

Just wondering...

1) Have you done the nav hack? If so, is it switched on so the speed sensor is stalled?

2) Use the Advanced options setting, to view the vehicle signal test. It will show you if the speed sensor is on while the car is moving, or if it's off while the car is stopped.

If it doesn't read on while the car is moving there might be an issue with your speed sensor, which is the only reason I can think of why your nav arrow isn't moving.

***To access the advacne settings options, press and hold the settings button, and turn the volume knob a few times.

Yes I did do the navi hack, but it worked fine the first month or so.

But you are right, the sensor would not turn on when I check the advance setting options while moving at all!

Do you know where the sensors are located and how many are there? Difficult to install?

I would check your wiring on the nav hack.....make sure the wire didn't break internally or one of the connection didn't come loose (cold solder joint).

It is very unlikely that it is actually the speed sensor signal which comes from the computer......

So just check the hack again? I am thinking maybe something came loose since it did work before. I hope nothing happened!

But would this cause the speed sensor not to come on? My odometer still works and I have no instrument lights on my dash that come up.

Yes,

You cut to cables.

1) the parking break cable

2) speed sensor cable.

If the speed sensor cable came loose or disconnected it's self, the diagnostic screen will read that the speed sensor is off the enitre time.

Go back through, and check you cables. Make sure they are not disconnected.
