I dont really like autos to begin with but the shifts on this car kill me when im at wot. Is there anyway to make them anymore firm? I would just like the car to shift into the next gear quicky...not tire screeching quick but performance quick.

About your only option is to get a valve body mod for your transmission. http://www.maximumtuning.net/ seels them.

No personal experience with Max perf but I have read great things about them.

I did find a torque converter & have read good things about Level10 TQ converter but have no personal experience:http://www.levelten.com/store/...n.htm

What about a grounding kit? Wouldn't that achieve a better shift?

Forgive me if I am missing the obvious, but what is a grounding kit?

As in electrical grounding.

I have read that both the maxima and G35 (both in auto form) shift smoother and more predictably with an aftermarket grounding kit.

I think the wires are beefed up to a 4 gauge.
