anyoneknow how to remove the 6MT G37 shift knob?

I'm not sure if a clip is holding it down so I haven't tried just twisting it off yet.

i've seen a couple people take theirs off.. but they both have ended up tearing them up

If it works like past G35’s it’s threaded on the shaft but also glued, so a hard counter-clockwise twist with a suitable tool along with crossing your fingers, it should come off.

I've heard a hairdryer will help with this by heating the glue up

big wrench. the stock shifter is going to break/tear. ive done this on many 350z's they are all put on the same, tight and glued.

there should be no reason for nissan/infiniti to change the way they put on the shift knobs. i'm pretty sure they are all glued and very tight.
