I'm at the office. Turkey is being delivered.

Thankfully, someone realized hours in advance that we didn't order butter and gravy so a volunteer went to fetch the items from Walgreens.

I've never been so thankful for stores being open on T-day. Turkey without gravy is like a toilet without water.

I can't work on holidays, no business has anything open in which to work on except grocery stores and they don't want to pay holiday rates. I would totally do it, too, because it's not like the whole day is cleared for turkey consuming shens or anything. Maybe yeah, when I was like 12, but not as an adult when no one in my immediate family has young ones... yet. This year my time not involved eating was taken up by the Black Friday deals at Target.

Next year will be much more interesting since the whole world decided to get itself pregnant. And, of course, the Irish tradition of multiple twins continues on...

Basically, I have to work tomorrow, and it will be a double shift most likely.
