hi there,I really need help , i have rb26dett and just upgraded mafs to z32 twins and they both were tested on our sr20det with z32's and they both run fine, brand new they are also. we double checked , tripled checked , our wiring . grounds , 12v, and signal, all check out fine in order of how to wire them acording to jim wolf and some aussie wiring diagrams.the ground power all check with multimeter. car starts then dies, just like if it was disconnected. the stock mafs worked fine. i changed the setting for power fc to the z32, nothing changed . I do not know what to do, if any one has any suggestions , or help , please help as I have had a hard time for help on this rb26dett.

i didnt run twin z32s but i ran twin rb25 mafs no issues. same concept...

what does the pfc say in the etc -> sensor/sw menu for afm1 and afm2 when the car dies?

does it go to 0V and go black? try looking at the voltage when the car dies.

are you sure your settings are being saved when you change to z32 maf when you power off the car?

dunno what else it could be..

when i go to the option menu it has r32 ,r33 , rb25, vg30 , i press next ,it goes to voltage screen,.64 ,1.28 etc, i do not have any other choices, i am using commander. does that menu select., when i had stock mafs i messed around that menu and when i select any of the mafs it does not change car running . my voltage on etc, menu key on is .28 and black but it dies so fast it does not go up very much at all. does the power writer software only way to change mafs?

Uh. . Mine started up fine without any MAF's plugged in. Idle'd rough as **** but it still ran longer than a second.

You sure its not the CAS? or something?

To be honest I'm taking a stab in the dark because my L-Jetro FC was fried, ended up buying the D-Jetro.

that's fine. just select the vg30 and don't change anything in the next screen.

when you power off, does vg30 stay selected?

is the .28 you're seeing in a black box or is it showing normal like the other ones? if its surrounded by a black box it means theres something wrong. just watch the etc. screen when you start it up. what does it show before and after it stalls?
