KYB GR-2 struts all around, EIBACH SPORTLINE springs, and ebay strut-tower braces... i use my car everyday, and was looking for something that will give me a decent handeling, while not bouncing like a trampioline..

oh yeah.. i right now have the gr-2, with GP-2 coilovers, which stink... want to know if these EIBACH SPORTLINE springs are good for improved handeling, while maintaining a good ride quality for normal everyday use.

Sportlines are comfy , but since they are progressive i don't find them to be stiff enough to handle backroads or autocrossing and the GR2's are merely a better-than-OEM replacement anyway. The Sportlines will significantly shorten the life of your GR2's. I don't recommend them.

..

how much shorter? i figure in the next two years, im hoping to have to get tien coilovers to get traction .

what spring setup would give me the best comprimise, between handling well on backroads, less body roll durnig drifting and still be decenlt comfy for everyday use..For instance, i bought a 6 puck act clutch, and am dealing with the harsh engagement for everyday use, because id rather have a good clutch to hold my awsome 130whp.

There really is no way to determine how much they will shorten the life of the GR-2's. The best thing I could say is that use of the Sportline springs voids any warranty on the GR-2 struts that KYB offers. The reason for this is they know the strut will not last long under the punishment of springs that drop this much.

yeah.. im not looking to "slam" my car so its like every bumber-scrapin honda civic.. i just want something that will tighten up the suspesion. I know my car woln't handel like a slammed civic, but something better than the stock ride. This is until i can afford real coilovers, but right now im buyin' turbo junk.

I guess just pick a spring that drops about 1 inch should be better then stock right?

so hows about the tein hi-techs, with a higher spring rate, it will increase roll resitance, while lowering the car under 1 inch, whihc should be enough to increase handeling slightly, while keeping the GR-2's in better condition?

I believe the gr-2 's can handle a small drop, while still covered under warantee... right?
