I'm the guy along with a couple of others who have been using the single muffler/dual outlet design ebay exhaust. Cost $175 shipped back in '09 summer when I got it. Has 60,000 miles on it and as good as the day I had it put on.

2.5" piping, no silly crimps under the rear axle area. Only thing needed to be done is getting those horribly crooked and ugly tips replaced.

I like this because it's not loud, and it's not a couple of fart pipes like the other $300 ebay exhaust (I HHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATEEE fart pipes, they kill any car's unique sound, save a few, very few exceptions).

Sounds even better with the Racingling Y-Pipe (but don't expect to beat 350Z's quite honestly....it's a hair, if that, faster than a stock 3.5 coupe).

Here are threads in the Engine/Tuning forums:

altima-coupe-3-5-ebay-exhaust-racinglin ... 00117.html

another-ebay-exhaust-t433377.html

Check my signature below for sound clips, I have 3 of them.

And BTW, there is such a thing as a red flashing "search" button, just saying since one of the mods will tell you that. ;) But I don't mind sharing/reposting once a year. ;)

Thank you for the nice write-up!! I did search about the ebay exhaust and found a few threads but I never came across your threads! Once again thank you.

You think you could look through your ebay purchase history and see if you can find the seller who sold you that exhaust? because I can't find it on ebay and now they have different and I have heard it and don't like the sound if it. Yours sounds basically how I want it to sound. My only concern is that you have a 3.5 and I have a 2.5 idk if there would be a big difference in sound

There's definitely gonna be a difference in sound. Check out these two exhausts.. (yes, it's a different exhaust setup entirely but I'm just trying to show the sound differences). You can expect your exhaust, having the 2.5L, to be less deep/throaty than the 3.5 for sure.

Sorry, I didn't realize you had a 2.5. In that case you wont get that sound, and the fitment around where the stock catylitic convertor and ebay exhaust meets up may not match. The eBay exhaust has a 3" dia. resonator over there, and I have a feeling your 2.5's exhaust flange around that part may be smaller, requiring some cutting and welding to get things to fit. I would just check with the shop you plan to use, to make sure they have such equipment and skilled person.

I'll check my ebay seller, however i believe that one exhaust is long gone, or they just use a newer picture now, which is what you linked. It looks just like mine, if I recall yesterday looking at it (Im on my phone, not easy to click and load pics and stuff atm).
