a while back i asked someone about their yellow hid fog lights from ddm tuning (thats the brand if im not mistaken) and they said they had the 35W version of the hid lights... but they also offer a 55W version... and im looking to get the most light output but i dont want to risk the possibility of melting the harness or overheating.

does anyone have a 55W hid in their fogs? if so.... please answer these questions:

1. are they plug & plug?2. what brand/make-model are they?3. have you noticed any performance issues with the actual lighting?4. does your fog light switch on the handle by your steering wheel work.. like when you set your fogs to go on with your headlights...)

thanks...looking to buy the hid fogs now that i got my tax refund check.

I have the 35W DDM Tuning fogs, but white (5000K). They are great - much better than stock. And are plug-and-play. Fogs work with the normal switch. The 55W lights might run a little hot in the enclosed housing (which is one reason I went with 35s). The 35s are bright enough for me - they light up the road shoulder much better. The 55s might also tax the stock wiring which is pretty small for that kind of current draw.
