I was actually thinking 40 for it- looks like you are close enough that it wouldnt need to be shipped.Negotiated for it to be thrown in when I had the swap done, but not going to get around to using it.Sorry, dont have any pics of it.Lemme know, you can reach me at [email protected] if you are interested.

I'm interested to hear about this one too. From what I understand, all you have to do is splice the wires, but I'm probably wrong. Someone has to have done this.

yup after you took off i went to work on it, couldnt just let it sit there!

yea this forum is pretty cool, learning alot from the RB sections and finding any links that will help me.

after taking that ride with you, it is makin me want to get the RB20DET even quicker, that was pretty quick on stock boost!

thanx for selling the digital to me ill put it to good use.

i went ahead and mounted the unit. i saw how i need to add a control for the flap valve to open and close off the heater box, after you seeing my truck im sure you know i can fab something up. heres 2 pics of it in the car.. kinda bright but you can get the idea.

i will do the best i can to post pics and what ever. i havent found any links with a "how to" from what i know the 2 main plugs connect to the digital, then there are a few plugs for power and some grounds along with a sun sensor.

Good luck with the climate control swap and definitely keep the community posted. I must admit however, that I read on zilvia.net somewhere that a number of people have tried to get it to work but I don't think anyone has succeeded yet. Apparently it's quite a bit more involved than just hooking up the harnesses and splicing a few wires. If I recall (and don't quote me on this) there's an issue with the USDM ECU that spoils the swap. I'll try and dig around a bit and let you know.

Keep at it though!-kouki

I found an old thread here on NICO

http://nicoclub.com/zerothread...ntrol

Looks like there is a lot more to it than just a couple wires and such.

good luck!!!

thanx for the link, do you know what year 240 he has? from what i can tell i think he has a s14 with a s13 digital climate... thats why he needed all those sensors right?

No, it looks like it's an s13. If you look at picture #3 on the imagestation link, you can clearly see the rear window defroster button in the upper left of the pic. I'm pretty sure that the button is located elsewhere on the s14 and that button looks JUST LIKE the one in my s13 fastback. As for the sensors, it looks like YOU WILL have to find those because our USDM cars never had an automatic climate control system and therefore were never equipped with those sensors.

Don't get discouraged though. Keep looking for parts and when you get things sorted out, you should definitely do another write up with lots of pics for the rest of the NICO community!

ok well isnt the automatic climate there incase i want it to run by its self? i prolly wouldnt want that say if im driving the car hard. really i would just use the heat functions because i am not going to run a/c and i have already figured out how to go about running the cable to open and close the flap valve for the heater box.

but trust me im not getting discouraged, i like ripping things apart and seeing how they all work then gettin them back together and functioning the way they should.
