For anyone with babys, does a s13 have enough room for a car seat? Like with my Civic you dont notice it is there at all, with my old Celica you are a little extra cramped, and with my girlfriends old mkIII Supra the front seat was rendered useless. Which catergory would best describe a 240sx?

First of all, carseats belong in the BACK seat just in case you forgot (unless your gfs mkIII supra had the front seat pushed up so the carseat could fit, in which case I'm sorry for going off on you). But the 240...I wouldn't put a car seat in my car mainly because it doesn't have a backseat anymore ;), I'd rank it with the celica, you could still use your front seat, it'd just be more cramped. (I've driven my brother around...I'm way too young to have kids, and don't plan on it for a LONG time...)

Yes the car seat was in the back and the front seat was pushed all the way forward hence why I said the front seat was rendered useless. If I had it in the front seat it wouldnt be useless because it was holding a baby.

Alright good thing that actually came to me, but yeah remember a sports coupe's interior is always gonna be a little cramped, and with a carseat its even worse. Even so I wouldn't put it in with the supra.

no problem the 240 fb that lives in my apartments has a car seat in hers. she can pull the seat in and out as she pleases it's really wierd seeing a mom drive my car.. but kinda cool too as how most mid aged women bought and drive 240's in the first place. i have never asked her but she's like 5/0 and maybe 100 pounds have never seen her struggle with the seat.. hope this helps.btw what kiond of S13 coupe or FB?

I'm open to either a coupe or hatch. The hatch looks better imo and obviusly has more cargo space but a coupe also looks more sleeper. Basically whatever I find the best deal on. Does one have more room between the seats then other?

Theres a dual seat equipped 95 ruby pearl base model around my town!!!

I dont have any problems with the front facing seats (gfs lil sis) but I took my sister and nephew home and he had to ride in his old slightly outgrown rear facing seat. My sis is about 5'8"-5'9" or something like that and her knees were against the dash.... Then again my gf is 5'3" so she can move up a bit, and being 5'11" myself nothing goes behind me.

I know its an s14 but take it for what its worth...

89 se rear facing child seat doesn't offer much room for front pass/driver... i'm 5'6/wifey 5'3 so no worries.

I think the hatch offers more headroom than the coupe..some1 confirm that?

front facing is ok for now, until they grow longer legs

also, there was a kit for a front pass side child restraint seatbelt, since I have no airbags...

works great since i can push that seat all the way back, hook it up & it holds tightly... didn't test yet for front facing childseats yet.

PS: it's tethered, cause those rear seat belts cant hold the car seat tightly enough.:rolleyes

I had my neice in my hatch all the time ... she fits great! she is 4 years old and sits in the back of course. My brother who is 185lbs has kindof a hard time getting in and out of back seat tho LOL.
