We found a way to use a common high quality H-beam rod and a special lightweight dished forged piston inside the vh45de. Compression ratios vary from 8.0-8.3 depending on overbore and surfacing of cylinder block and heads. We put a single Turbonetics t-76 on some custom manifolds with amazing results. We are soon going to be offering a rod and piston combination to fit in the motor. We estimate that combined with quality machine work and our rod/piston 800plus horsepower should be easily obtainable.

I'm working on one... but its giving me as much trouble as possible in trying to swap it in.

The compression ratio is a little lower than I'd like... but I'm very interested regardless. I would definitely like to know more.
