Just curious if we have any members with a QX56 yet and how you like it?

I don't have one, but I drove one at my dealer for about 10 miles. Despite the look, I was impressed with the ride. It actually felt more stable and had a better ride quality than my qx4. The feature contents look great and the power was immediate. Even with the modifications to my qx4, there is no way i cool pull or pass a Qx56 without forced induction.

I haven't seen any members here with a Qx56 however there are quite a few on freshalloy.

there are a couple members here with the armada which is the same vehicle with out the bells and whistles the QX has.

I just picked one up. The look gets better the longer you have it. So far everything else is great. I have to take it back to the dealer when I get around to it for a couple of small issues.

You must have a digi camera if you can afford a QX56, so please do all of us a favor and post pics.

What color/package/options did you get?

I will send some pictures in a couple of days. I really don't know how to post them so if you or anyone can give me instructions I would appreciate it. I got the Cobalt blue, with the willow interior. The extras are the backup camera/intelligent cruise, mud flaps, rear cargo mat and sunroof. I traded in a 94 Q and an 04 Touareg.

sweet ride. you're right..... the qx56 has grown on me quite a bit. when it first came out, i was like "uuuummm,interesting". now i think i really like it. my friends' neighbor has dark red one, so i'm looking at his all the time.

The funny thing is I traded a v8 Touareg in on it, along with a 94 Q45, and the gas mileage is a little better on the QX then it was on the VW, and believe me the QX is heavier and bigger. Like I said before I didn't buy it for its looks, but I thought the Touareg was a beauty, but what a Dog!!!!!!!!! I learned my lesson on European cars. The only complaint I have so far, I only have 980 miles on it, is that there is no way to shut the vents off individually. You have to shut the fan off or you constantly get air out of all the vents. Usually, or always, cars have individual shut offs for each vent. Any suggestion on what could be done to fix this situation??? thanks

yes i have a 2006 qx 56 and i love it rides smooth better than the 04

My boyfriend and I were at Arby's. When we came out to get in his car, there was this huge, looming suv parked next to him, towering over his 240. We were both like "WTF is that thing.. it's huge! And so luxurious!" Then we walked around and looked at it and realized it was a QX56.

They are super nice.

I love my 2006 QX56 she is light sage and ridin on 24 inch KMC and chromed out and wooded out....lookin for upgraded taillights and chrome luggage rack options.Thanks Dani.She is the ONLY one that color in FLorida especially fixed up.

Hi my name is Dani and I bought the finest SUV 7 months ago.It is a 2006 sage QX56.she was on the showroom floor just gliztening at me.It happened to be my favorite color as well.The only one like it in the state of Florida.(I was told) I put new shoes on her .24 inch KMC DImes and then I put chrome window pillars, then 24 inch emblems ( Size Matters ) then for Christmas I bought a triple chrome Bentley style T-rex grill then I added ALL the wood you could.She looks AWESOME and the fact that she unique cuases me to blush......I love it.WISHED ONLY.....that the doors locked when you drive automatically, and the chromed out luggage rack comes next year.shucks.The window control need to be moved which they are in the 2008....Auto door vacume close would be great as well...Don;t hate me cause I have class.Love me and be my friend....join in the fun......... Wish I could send you photos.I did on YAHOO AUTOs look me up......and comment.only if you love it/////////

I have one and I must say, the only flaw this vehicle has is the gas mileage. I'm luck that I don't drive it everyday because I have other vehicles but that would probably be the only thing. You get a lot of looks when you're in this 'street yacht".

Can you tell me where I can find the crome luggage package, I never seen that but always wondered if they made one. I have the gold color and I'm looking for a lot of upgrades, especially the grill. I have the intelligent cruise control feature and I can't get the strut grille that I want, do you know of any other kind I can get for this street yacht. Thanks

well my parents bought one today, i was pretty upset, because to me they are boring, they traded in their 2003 navigator for it. They bought a White 2007 QX56 with all the options. They were between it and the M35 Sport all the options. I was really pulling for the car because if tge awesome Bose 13 speaker system and the quick VQ35, but it is my stepmom's car, and my dad and i wanted the car, and she did too, but she thought the Q would be the better choice, so my dad let her pick, because she will be the one driving it. So they pick it up tomorrow, after they tint the windows on it. It will be alright but i was pretty dissapointed that they got it over the M.Dex

I just purchased a 2006 QX56 and drove it from Kansas City to my home in Vancouver BC. 2200 miles. great ride did notice gas stations were programmed into the GPS and lucky for me with good cause as we visited many on our way home. No real complaints a comfotable ride with a very good stereo.

Congrats bobb277! I know you will enjoy your ride! Gas a bit of an issue to deal with these days, but I think you will find riding in comfort and luxury is worth it! The Nav system is sweet, you can program gas stations, restaurants, golf courses, and all sorts of points of interest. Let me know if you have any questions, I would be glad to help you out!
