Anyone with a fidanza flywheel?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I put this flywheel on with a new ACT clutch days before a trip to Las Vegas. Flywheel has been great, there is a slight increase in acceleration; its main advantage though is quickness in rev-matching for downshifts.

I've got one, its fantastic. Just one little pound on the gas when heel-toeing and you're golden!

i have the fidanza with a Spec stage 3 clutch, revs up really nice, that with a removed mechanical fan is golden... rev matching is a lot nicer, a little easier to stall though in the beggining when your not used to it with an aftermarket clutch

I love the flywheel. I put mine in with my new clutch and when I was on hills I would either stall or just spin my tires like crazy. It definitly revs easier and give it a little more gas than usual when starting from a stop and you'll love it too. Paid $300 for mine from a place in town.

i got mine off ebay for 330 shipped. launching while racing is going to be a ***** because the revs drop so quickly it feels like your going to bog! you just have to get used to it and hold the clutch in a lil while longer while taking off.

I have the Fidanza flywheel along with the Spec stage 3 clutch and a turbo on my engine...

I never liked that combination (the flywheel and clutch) as there is some vibration around 2400-2900rpm, or that could just be my install.

To be fair to Fidanza, the flywheel is a lot lighter than stock... the engine revs faster and response is quicker.

I have it too, I am getting ready to sell it cause I am not using the KA anymore.

I dont know, you could email me if you want it [email protected]

It needs a new friction surface though.

my engine was basically stock (just intake) when I put on the flywheel and clutch. The difference was slight but noticeable. Just get it already- I've yet to see anyone truly disappointed with this flywheel.
