I was on Ebay a while back and was looking for any kind of performance for my 01 qx4. I came across a few company's that made performance chips. Each maker saying theirs is better. Claiming they get more HP and get 30mpg. Has anyone ever bought one before? Please reply with your comments.

they are all bull. The only thing that would help you out, is if you installed a CAI and custom exhaust and then theres a company called JET Chips, that will flash it for like 250$ or less dont remember exacly, but they will input your new settings and stuff, so it should help a little.

and what i want to get its called a Apexi SAFC II, what you do is wire it into your ECU and you can control a couple of things to trick the sensors and in turn better perfomance, they go for around 200-250 last time i remember.

edit: heres a link showing what the SAFC II is.

it will be the first one in that list.

safc was pretty "cool" to have about 10 years ago, no offense but the only thing they are good for today is laughing at the ricer memories, no performance gains, good times !!

nobody makes a good chip for the pathfinder, not enough aftermarket support, not enough demand to warrant making a "performance chip" for the slowest SUV in it's class.
