anyone wire the fogs on indepdently?

Yea i know KP has one out for $50-70 but even they dont have one out for the sedan.

So i was wondering has only one done it the old fashion way. splice the parking light wire to the positive on the fog light relay wire to power it up that way.

I've done it on all my older cars, but haven't tried it out yet. I normally follow the DIY people posted about it.
