I'm considering downgrading my clutch so if anyones interested, let me know, my email is [email protected] . Its an OS Giken Twin plate with lightened flywheel combo, will come with everything including bolts and complete throwout bearing assembly that is specific to this clutch. Exact mileage is unknown, I got it with my engine but its in very good condition, no slipping whatsoever and grabs hard as hell. Ive been driving on on it for about a month know without any problems at all. Only reason I'm considering trading is because this is my daily driver, this clutch is completely streetable(Ive been doing it for a month) but its a little more aggressive than I prefer to drive everyday in stop and go traffic. Alot of sr guys daily drive these and love it but I would like to have somthing a little milder for everyday use.

As far as trades go its kinda up in the air. I would really like to have a stage 1 or 2 street clutch with lightened flywheel but I'm open to anything. Just let me know what you have. I am not going to straight up trade this clutch/flywheel for a stock setup though so don't even ask, you would have to put some cash on top of that and if the flywheel is stock it needs to be in very good condition and preferably resurfaced recently. Let me know what you have.

I may be interested since my current clutch will not be able to hold the power I'll be pushing very shortly. The flywheel you have is os giken as well?

I have a kayaba 3 puck clutch with stock pressure plate, and a brand new Jun lightweight flywheel.

Would you sell them for just cash? if so how much?

Yeah, but it would need to be enough for me to get a lightened flywheel, a new clutch and some flywheel bolts. I don't even know of anywhere that sells lightened flywheels for the CA though, so I don't really know how much I'd need.

Raretrick sells lightweight flywheels for about 350+shipping which is where I got mine. But I had to wait 4 months for it to get here.

So you guys both have kayaba clutches? Kayaba as in KYB shocks? I didn't know they made clutches. How does it feel and what kind of condition is it in?

Yeah, I've never been able to find another one like mine either. Kayaba as in KYB. They have the clutch listed on their catalog if you visit their japan web site. Mine came with my motor set. It is very streetable like tyrannix said and grips pretty well. I think the torque increase is something like 30 percent over stock.

The only place the kayaba's were sold was in Japan I believe...never seen another one of these in the states til now.

i had a OS twin in my silvia, but it had worn out... i miss it.... as of now i have a TODA chromoly unit, 11lbs, and a unknow 3 puck copper metallic, which is suprisingly stiff considering the pressure plate looks stock....has about 70% left.... not sure what your wear is at....

and P.S. ppl's the OS flywheel is One unit specific to the twin setup, the clutch basket is rivited/bolted to the flywheel...i was goin to sell it, until i took mine apart, now its just a trophy on my wall....lol

lemme know [email protected]

next time you are in town let me know I would like to take your car for a spin to see how harsh the engagement is. I have an ogura single plate racing clutch that is in good shape (used) but I haven't installed it yet.
