I'm about to clear out my storage and would like to see if anyone wants to buy the JDM Q45 headlamps (For 94-96 model only).I have two extra sets for sale.

One in modded form with black interior touch and other one is stock JDM lamp with interior glasses intact.Modded one for $450 and stock set for $250, shipping included.Should look something like these below. The corner lamps are not included.

Is the city lights (small bulb in headlamp) plug and play?Does it use the same size bulbs as the USDM ones?

Hey Paul,

As I mentioned in my previous posts, I get my stuff from Japanese Yahoo Auctions via Rinkya service. Nothing special, it just costs a lot.For me, I didn't mind paying not just for the price of goods (which was okay since it's almost impossible to get them in the states), service fees and ridiculous amount of shipping to ship them over. For example I paid around 60,000 Yen (around $600 at current exchange rate) for the headlight set above at the auction, plus about $160 for shipping from Japan to here in Honolulu and I'm did not even include the service charges for Rinkya. If you still want me to look for something for you, I might be able to help a little, but you need to know that it costs a lot more than just the price of the item, and also think about "if it's really worthwhile to spend that kind of money?"For me... I was pretty crazy about JDM stuff for my Q... wood steering wheel for almost 800 bucks, Work VS-XX wheels (got them at pretty good price... just shipping were nasty even without tires), President parts here and there...Well, think about it for a while and let me know.

For the little bulb, there's connector socket behind the housing (JDM only), but our USDM lights don't have the extra wiring that can be plugged in. So I didn't bother hooking them up.Low beam uses the same bulb as USDM models. I use HID conversion kit (Philips 6500K, Non Bi-Xenon) and it was bright enough for me so that high beam was not needed to be turned on.High beam on JDM headlamp uses different sized socket so if you still want to hook them up, you might have to cut some wire or something (which I wouldn't bother if it was for me).

Look at my signature above for how it looks with HID. The photo was taken when I had installed above mentioned modded headlamps on my Q.

I wired mine to my parking lights since that is how they are supposed to be wired. And then ran the ground to the chassi right behind the headlights.

That's what I did on mine. I put the Putco brand 360* LED's in there. Looks almost like "HID look" headlight bulbs when I have the parking lights on.

There's not really any effects on the low beam, but you can see my LED's when low beams are on because I have 4500K Hi/Lo bulbs.

What about JDM Y33 headlights? I am in the market for the Gran Touring black housing headlights if anybody has some or want to trade for a set of JDM Y33 chrome housing headlights.

I am sure they are the same as mine. My only (slight) issue with them is that they have kick up on the left. I aimed the lights down a little to compensate.
