anyone want a free ka24e w/ 5spd transmission located in cali?

the motor and transmission is free for the taking for who ever wants it. i'm doing an sr swap in the very near future and don't need it anymore. the engine ran fine as well as the transmissoin. it has around 120,000 miles on it.

here's the catch.....due to work and school, i dont have the time to take it out of my s13. you do the labor, it's yours for free. i have an engine hoist and tools if needed.

I am assuming you are keeping the harness as well for your swap. I may need a few plugs off of it. Where are you located in cali(near what big city) I may be interested.

i'm located in ridgecrest, about 1 hr north of lancaster. and yeah, i plan on keeping the wiring harness, but everything else is going. i've been getting tons of calls on it, but it seems that distance is a problem. i go down to la almost every weekend and have no problem picking someone up and dropping them back off with the motor.

How far north are you of LA. I'm not too familar with anything north of the 10 fwy.

If it's not too far it may be worth the drive. LMK

First of all, wassup everybody I'm new here and you'll notice I ask a lot of stupid questions, so now that you have a heads up. How did most of you guys learn to tear a whole freakin engine out and replacing it?? I'm a car lover but my dad was never a mechanic, I've never been one but I"m dying to learn to do all that stuff......I can't even change my own oil for crying out loud LOL

do you still have the transmisson?...cause i really need one...ill pay for shippin if so....if your still hooking it up then see how much shippin is to 95531....nor cal 30mins away from the border of oregon...town is crescent city...im only here on vacation so hit back asap thanks.
