Hey guys, I've been looking for a freakin seat for a while now that will allow me to sit lower than stock. Been looking mostly at full buckets but don't fit zeta iii, etc. Reclinables seem to sit too high.

HOWEVER, talked to some guy from NorCal who said his Bride Brix (old school one) sits about 1-2" lower than stock, which is awesome.

Wondering if anyone in the SoCal area has one... and if I can sit in one to see if I can fit/etc. 240 s13 coupe w/ sunroof would be perfect... :-D

I'm 5'10", 185lbs - "bottom heavy" I guess. Sat in zeta iii, *** & thighs barely fit in there & squash my you know whats. Pros were also not great. And the JIC seats shoulder area was too small. Sat in Sparco Sprint... fit but thighs are a bit too tight. Found that out @ good ol Super Autobacs, but they don't have a super large selection.

Anyone in the so cal area who has either Brix, Sparco Pro2000, or anything lower than stock but will fit "average" ppl & let me test fit their seat will be AWESOME!

Thanks Jay! I can't afford a gias, haha, though I'm sure that would probably fit.

why do you want a bride? brides are very small seats. sparco, recaro, etc. would fit perfectly, various styles of full buckets available, many of which are side mount, sitting lower than stock by a good margin.

I didn't necessarily want bride. The reason it appealed to me first was that it has the lowest seat mounts. Of course, once I test fitted it, it was no go. I was also looking at other options, but haven't had a chance to test fit any of them, and that is almost a necessity when ordering something for $500+.

If someone has a pro2000, I'd love to test fit that .

The reason for the Brix is that it is reclinable & suppose to sit lower than stock, which is very desirable to me. Also, there is a guy who is selling one (old school version) for a good price, but is in NorCal for a while.

I don't know how other seats will do w/ the Bride bottom mount, but I think the Brix also has less padding or something, iono, that's why I wanted to check it out.

I used to have Sparco bottom mounts w/ "standard" reclinable megans, which are built just like the majority of the reclining seats -> my head hits the roof, even uncomfy after I remove the slider mechanism & just rigged it into a fixed seat position.

I can deal w/ my stock seat right now, until I finish my other projects, hehe. But just wanted to know for sure which seat would be good for me.

I'll try recaro, sparco, whatever. As long as there are nice ppl who will just let me test-fit my ***. Time to start finding 240sx meets .

Thanks guys.
