I used to have the weapon-r on my 96, it was a really easy install and it sounded really good. I liked it but wanted a real CAI so I turned the WAI into a CAI. excuse the blue, I was a bit younger at this phase.any more questions just ask

I also used to have this type of setup (not Weapon R, but very similar) in my old '96 as well. I liked it but since decided to get an Injen for my '99. I wanted something to bring in a little bit of cooler air but didnt exactly want to drill a hole in the fender...I figured the Injen was the best alternative given the location of the filter...I have been VERY pleased with this setup (coupled with a K&N filter) and would definately recommend it if you can afford it.

yep, keep the stock one ftw i know you see mine in the pic but it took a few tries to get it where i want it - shortened about 3-4" etc. stock is best for performance/mpg the rest...not so much.

that's right. a bunch of money spent on something that'll take away some hp or mpg...or both. but if you have spare $200 go for it - makes a helluva cool sound and looks good under the hood. i won't say where, cus not here ,but there's a lot of threads on the worthless-ness of aftermarket intakes.
