Anyone using the Infiniti Bike Rack?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

If so, what do you think of it? Any other racks available? I've checked out the Yakima site and it looks like they don't have anything for the EX35...

Hadn't heard of an Infiniti bike rack but here's one that was discussed:zerothread?id=313836

There apparently was some issue with the hitch design, but it was recently reported as having been solved:zerothread/326663

Cheers,David

David - thanks for the information.

This was the one I was talking about:http://infinitipartspeople.com...rrier

Only ones I've found. Looks like both Yakima & Thule don't have anything for the EX35...

Hi, does anyone see this article on bike rack? It looks like Saris Bone 3, but I called Saris a week ago. They told me Bone 3 will not work for EX35.

Any thought?

Thank you,MC

Infiniti contracts their outdoorsy accessories like that to Yakima. The Thule ones are of superior quality, and they have a very sturdy feel, with an efficient operation. I'm not a rider I put them together. zer...nyone

The hitch installed in these EXs was from the link below.

With this hitch you can use any class one attachment. I think the EX is limited to an 800lb tongue weight, which is on par the size.

Bump for options on a bike rack!

Anyone using the Curt hitch? If so, what rack are you using with it? Do Thule or Yakima have anything available for the EX-35? I checked last year and there was nothing from them! Hopefully, that's changed.

What are you folks using to transport your bikes?

I just bought a Thule roof rack from Amazon---I went to the Thule website and used their "fit guide." The EX is in there and it breaks down everything you need. Then I went to Amazon and put it together for about $50 less.
It looks pretty good IMHO.
Maybe I'll try to post a pic--just bought it and installed about 2 weeks ago.

I finally picked up the Curt Hitch (11510) and had it installed. I just placed the order for the Saris Thelma 2 bike rack and it should arrive in the next week or so. Will post a report when it comes in.

Any and all updates would be much appreciated. Looking to get a bike rack soon and I'd prefer one that connects to a trailer hitch. Thanks!

I personally use the curt hitch for bikes with a saris cycle-on and really like it but in winter i've put the thule 450r with the rb47 bars and the amazing thule boxter 611 for skis!
