A few questions for you.

1 - What the hell is OSTRICH EPROM MOADES? Post up a link so the rest of us can get a clue as to what your talking about.

2 - Why are you typing in all caps?

Also a suggestion.. If you dont know how to tune, get a tuned ecu so you wont have to worry about it.

Please don't type in CAPS.

A simple google search would have done you wonders. For starters, its spelled "Moates" and im pretty sure it is just an emulator that lets you tune on the fly via laptop or whatever.

Actually thats just a company that sells you the EEPROMS, Zif sockets, and EEPROM programmers.

There is a lot more then just buying this stuff and making ti work.

You still gotta unsolder your old chip from the ecu, put in the ZIF socket, then you need a rom tuner software, where you can make your fuel maps and such. The use the eeprom burner to burn the bin file.

Then use the chip in your socket ECU.

Check out http://www.hybridka.com to get more info on this. Also this method is only for the SOHC KA..

Welcome to NICO. And please next time don't use all caps, we are a professional forum.

Thanks,Mike(S13FX)
