I have known of a couple people who have had problems with them for example seizing up, and springs going bad...The Greddy Type S is the way to go if you havent bought one yet...but thats just my Opionion. I have had Dcuatro, Blitz, and now Greddy Type S and it is my favorite

the new ARC's are awesome, there is one up on ebay for $210 buy it now with pipe, thats a pretty good deal. They look, they sound hot, and it should perform pretty well. I don't know anyone that has had problems with an arc valve but I only know a few people that used them and they used the older ones.

I can't remember who it was, but I've heard of people having problems with them leaking and not being able to get them to seal. That was with used older ones though, so take that with a grain of salt.

me and my friends have never hand any luck with the greddy type S. they must have changed the design cause back in the day me and two other friends had the type S and the thing leaked like it was its job. i have an ARC bov and i couldn't be happier.

I have HKS and love it and I don't know anyone that has had leaking problems with one, but aren't very responsive, so I'm not sure how much its helping out my turbo.

slideways you know there is a prof sheepdog in the for sale forum right now for $40 bucks?

I'm running an ARC BOV in mine... i can run upto 14 pound through it and not have it leak or release whatsoever.. it's a noticeable sound to all the people who know my car, sounds a lot different..

One of the problems with them though is they are not plumb back.. in australia it's illegal to have a atmospheric realesling BOV.. oh wells :p

The ARC is a large diaphragm single stage unit. It really helps to recurriculate it back. I had an ARC Type 3 BOV for about a year, and after I recirrculated it, there was a night and day difference in performance. Also, all ARC valvues are designed to be recurriculated, so they will leak a little at idle, and don't have the best sound because unlike the Blitz, Apex, HKS, XS, etc it is not designed for the ricer, but the racer.

Although, I did sell mine and will be getting a HKS SSQV due to the fact that I couldn't find an ARC weld on flange for some custom piping I had made.

Just received my ARC NS BOV for CA18DET, it came with hose and clamps for direct bolt-on:

What other parts would I need to get it recirrculate? A diagram/picture is always welcome

A custom trumpet that does not have a flare in it, a hose that is the same diameter as said trumpet, and a couple of clamps. Plumb the hose between the BOV discharge trumpet and a port before the turbo and after the MAF. Boom...recurriculated.

To those of you planning to recirculate, I'm gonna try using a Z32 recirc valve and see how it works. Since I only paid $15 shipped for it, I figured it can't hurt...
