anyone using a tanabe hyper?

I found a good deal on a tanabe hyper medalion (cut from a rear section of another app) for about 150 CDN, its the muffler only, but I am thinking about putting in on custom piping with one resonator. I'm not looking at any real power gains but I really want to know about the sound and if it'll fit (in regards to the room i have for muffler space) . I have a 1990 with the sohc. I anyone is using the hyper I would like to know how its working for them.
