I really want to run this for my initial install, but I am not sure about fitment. I have heard that some folks are running DSM SMICs, and since the JZA80 (MKIV Supra TT) is considered an upgrade for that IC, is there a way to get it in our cars? Thanks!

On a side note: a Heavy Throttle Hot Pipe and SR stock cold pipe will fit on a CA right? Thanks!!!! After IC, all I need is a fuel pump and some odds 'n ends before this bad boy goes in!

kevin (Nismo1182) would know about the dsm sidemount thing because he's the one running it... I've seen it, and I don't think he uses the stock hotpipe... he does use the CA cold pipe, so you can use the SR one.

using a stock SR sidemount then yes, you could use the heavy throttle pipe... but with the dsm one, i think its in a different place. wait for kevin to reply:)

SO I may need to get a custom HP fabbed? Damn. Nevermind if that is the case. Not that I am trying to be cheap, but the whole point of this was to be painless as possible.

My custom hotpipe was 5 bucks. :D It was a 2" 90 degree muffler pipe from discount autoparts.

It goes, turbo outlet to stock rubber coupling, then to a 6" pipe that I got from a friend that has a DSM bov welded on it, then another rubber coupling to the 90 degree bend (you maybe have to trim some of it) then to some left over DSM stock rubber piping to the intercooler itself. Presto! $5 hotpipe.

The DSM outlet on the bottom puts it on the other side of the frame rail so the new hotpipe runs a few inches away from the radiator straight down. Ill try to get some pics soon.

I would really appreciate it! I think the JZA80 SMIC is a nice peice, and if I can get it to work, would fit my HP goals nicely...and for only $150;)

So you wanna tell me how you did it? What parts you are running? Shed some light?
