Anyone using a Cobra MAFS?

I just bought a brand new one with pigtail for cheap. Are any of you using this with just the SAFC? Is it necessary to have the ECU reprogrammed to accomodate for the Cobra MAFS or can you use the SAFC to correct the voltage? I am using an SAFCI (one).

I read in an earlier thread that the SAFC should be set to 5 in and 5 out. This was suggested for a 240sx with a JWT ECU tune. I will be using the stock 270's, SAFC and Cobra MAFS.

from my understanding the only way to run one is with a jwt or enthalpy ecu unless u have some sort of standalone or megasquirt or bikirom. they say to set the safc to those settings when u get ur ecu chipped as the ecu now sees that maf as stock. markemark runs that maf tho with a jwt ecu......

yep, from everything ive always read is that the cobra maf works in such a way it is completely differnt and the safc cant adjust for it. you would have to have a jwt tune to use that maf.

Hmm, not exactly the route I wanted to go. I suppose I will have to go with a Z32 mafs instead. Anyone need a Cobra mafs?

Enthalpy doesnt tune for the Cobra MAF...

i stand corrected.................nonetheless, sell that cobra maf and get urself a z32 maf.........
