^^ recent thread. theres more out there.

i would try it if it was for a rwd kade. the pic for that recent ebay ad does not have an allowance for the water passage (or did it).

i think it would be better to seperate the water passage from the rest of the intake mani somehow. as that is what i believe causes most of the heat soak. i'm probably wrong though.

and i think it was discussed sometime further back over in the NA-KA forum. someone was going to make some. dont know what happened there.

You're right.

That was me. The hondata gaskets block that coolant passage(it's not a major artery). You can't block the one on the ka. Without blocking that coolant passage, the gains wouldn't be worth it.

I completely agree with everyone that without seperating the coolant passage this is pointless. I removed the TB coolant lines, and runners 2-4 are warm to the touch after 5 min of driving, and runner 1 is like 150... cant hold your hand too it. meh!

however these are awesome if you have a car without the coolant passage or can find a workaround. my friend did this to his sr20 and the intake runners are cooler than the strut tower bar :X definate 1-5hp increase in those cases methinks!

Hope I wont get in trouble for this...BUT...if you want the real deal, same thing as the hondata but cheaper, and for the KA

http://www.xcessivemotorsports...tep=2

I actually gave them the pattern to make those as the owners are friends of mine.

Anyways, they work, I use one on my car, the only thing is you have to re-tighten the manifold after you get to temperature, but you have to do the same on the hondata's.
