I was looking through the NISMO catalog and see that they list a CNC head (bare), race valves (37mm intake, 31mm exhaust), race cams (275°). Has anyone installed these in a DE or DE-T engine? I'm curious if these would be beneficial over just a basic head rebuild and JWT turbo cams or some other brand?

I searched with Google a little bit and I didn't find much information on it, just that the head is $3k.
I doubt it's worth the price, a well ported stock head with oversized valves will probably net you similar improvement.

Most Nismo parts for 240sx are sourced from aftermarket company, so could probably find the same part, cheaper through aftermarket company.

I personally would spend 3k on a full counterweighted crankshaft over a head for the ka. But lets be serious 3 k for a bare head...lame nismo, lame

You know that was just an example of the price of a fcw crank. Bc makes a stock stroke fcw crank for the KA you just have to order it from them. That 800hp KA-t in turbo magazine had one. Technically the KA24 is not a stoked engine. There is no such thing as a KA22DE or even a KA20DE , now a KA26DE is a stoker motor. A 427ci engine is not a stroked motor if it came like that from the factory. Now if I took a 400ci and "stroked" it to a 427 , then it is. Yeah but I get what your saying. "the KA24de stroke is long enough" right! agreed. FCW FTW!!!! nismo KA stuff (as cool as it is!) FTL!!!

You could call any over-square motor "stroked" and get away with it in my eyes.
