If anybody on this site plans on dealing with Jack Slovenski (91tofordee), DON"T DO IT!!!This guy just ripped me off for almost $1300

If anybody has seen this for sale thread, you'll see how much money that he's stolen from me.zerothread?id=449405

This turbo showed up at my house with the inlet and outlets wiped clean. Some of the bolts were missing for the housings, and the wastegate was just laid on the turbo.I opened it up, and both housings and blades are full of oil......the turbo is blown!!

I sent him pictures and an explanation, and first he acted dumb, asking how a turbo blows. Then he gave me a story about how he spent the money on another turbo, then already sold that turbo to buy another engine, and doesn't have any money because he's a college student.

Then when I try to work something out with him, I get this:

"i told you that i had never ran it, therefor, i didn't guarentee that it would work. buying off the internet is a buyer beware thing, i never stated i would give a refund, therefor, i'm not refunding you."

This guy is a scam artist, and he has no place in the 240SX community.Anyone who can rip someone off almost $1300 doesn't have any right to continue being here. He's refused to help me out in any way, and now I'm out what could have been rent money for 2 months.....or an engine to replace my broken SR20.....or a NEW Turbo.

If anybody can give me any advice on dealing with this guy, please please contact me.

first thing..if you have a shipping adress and know the guys information...there might be legal things you can do..such as sew for the amount that was scammed and the outcome could be a small settlement...take it to a civil court...there are things you can do for internet scams...if you know a lawyer or have one i would suggest talking to him/her.

You can start on doing a dispute though paypal. I know it is not going to be easy/quick but this is your first step. Did you pay with credit card or straight bank transfer? If you used your credit card, dispute though CC is much faster, as the CC company will first take the money back from Paypal, then Paypal will charge the person first (I learn this the hard way from a f***ed up friend. Double quote: he is not my friend anymore). If you pay straight up cash, you are kind of out of luck and can only wait for paypal.
