Its supposed to be a moistue barrier. Would rather do this than put that oil gunk on the bottom for winters here in chicago.

Did it work well on keeping the underside from rusting?

Yeah the g37 will be my everyday car. I am going to get winter tires put on a extra set of 19 OEM rims i have sittin in the garage though.
