agree with cheese,
but some of them don't last that long because it's still a rubber squeegee and subjected to sun oxidation (dryrot) like the traditional wipers
if the edge wears out, there's no easy refillable inserts as well (i've went to other forums for people trying to do so, but it's a PITA)
i went to an eBay seller that has a limited lifetime warranty on this design & since it was priced pretty close to brick n' mortar stores, i took the plunge & installed them on the wifey's Acura MDX
and
printed out the receipts for when the time comes to collect, i gots da documentation

-----------------------
silicone blades are the bomb and if they combine that with this newer design, i'll be in for a set as well
i still have a set of original silicone blades (with the traditional frame) on my 240, for the past 6-7 years now... i lost count; a good wipe down with washer fluid from time to time & it's still providing a streak free wipe
the only reason why i "upgraded" to this style is the ease of cleaning snow off the windshield & it doesn't freeze up at the joints
EDIT: well i'll be darned... triple edge has put a set out for exactly what I was describing!
