Hey guys, i was at best buy checking out new speakers for my 2009 1.8S versa sedan. Im happy with the headunit in the car, but the speakers sound a bit unclear, i would like to get better ones. Checked out speakers at best buy, narrowed it down to:Infinity 6022siInfinity 6022i (Not sure if I need the shallow version or the normal one)Pioneer A633Pioneer A643

My budget is about $80 for a pair, if anyone has these speakers or recommends another one, that would be great!I listed to the radio exclusively, hip hop, rock, pop, so clarity and decent bass is what I need. Thanks!

I have Kenwood in my door panels, they sound awesome. Lack bass though so I bought an amp and 12" sub, sounds complete now.

it is amazing how much a little bump makes in listening to tunes.

Make sure the speakers you're looking at match the wattage output for the stock deck, or when turned up, the speakers will distort, lack of bass, etc.

Stock deck will under power any of those.

If your going for clarity the infinity is better than the pioneer however you can definately do better. The the guy above is right, the outputs on most factory decks is sorry, not much there to work with.

I would look at any of the older MB Quarts that were still made in Germany before the Maxxtronics takeover.

I'd like to bump this thread. I would also like to keep the factory stereo but replace the speakers. I don't take a lot of long trips, so I'm not looking for a HUGE improvement, but something less muddy than those terrible stock speakers. Any suggestions? I've got the 2010 S HB with only 4 speakers. Is is worth replacing all 4 or just the two up front? Thanks!

I just bought a complete set of these. http://www.parts-express.com/p...9-275

Judging by the reviews, they seem to be pretty good for the price. They may not be the best but there's no way they can be worse than the cheesy whizzer cone stock speakers. Free shipping if you get at least 4 too. I actually got 8 because it just so happens all 4 speakers in the wife's Saturn are the same size too. If you have the money and the time to mess with it, components are the way to go. However, I gotta watch money. My $320 Pioneer GPS deck was my "splurge" for me

I want to improve my sound in my 2010 SL Hatch (6 speakers)

What should I do? I find the sound very hollow. I wish my 2008 Honda Civic stereo speakers were in this car. :(
