Anyone use a hypergear turbo

i searched but nothing seems to come up for them on this site. its an austrailian made turbo and its pretty damn cheap when you convert to US prices. jsut want to know if anyone has used it or knows anything about it. it seems like an affordable upgrade to the gt2871r http://www.digi-hardware.com/index.html

If your spending that type of money on those you might as well buy a decent turbo for that money. Plus what kind of motor sport company sells mountain bikes too? Seems kinda cheap to me.

Type them into youtube and there are few vids of cars using them. Seems good to me but why not get something not from aussieland.

haha tru i was just wondering if any1 used this instead of the garrett, but it seems garret is the number 1 choice for upgrades

well you could buy one of their turbos, and while you are at it buy one of their mountain bikes to ride when your turbo fails. maybe they would give you a good deal on buying both!

i actually heard they are decent ! i dont know anyone running them but i seen some dynos from australia, and read about them on some skyline forums, and for a stand bearing turbo they are good, bang for buck i think they are ok

We also came thrid in DA final and 2nd in Vic drift final this year. Also our new ATR28 series has pulled 282rwkws on a CA18det in standard bolt on form. information in link above

There is also Borg Warner and Holset turbos that you can check out.Many argue that they are better than garrett

Garrett is definitely No. 1 in turbo technology. We use their CHRA and parts in our turbo manufacturing as well. Holset makes good truck turbos, maybe good for a 13B.

Hoo and refer to the topic. for some thing like a GT2871R we've made it even better: ATR28G3. I personally managed 282rwkws / 501Mn Torque @ 24psi on a CA18det engine. Its a Bolton turbo for SR20det motors:

Currently we don't. We only dispatch by EMS from Australia.

I'ed advise to check out Spa Turbos, I replaced my garret with their GT6300, spool is far better and It feels great. The warranty is great to, 1yr unlimited warranty on any defects. And the price isn't bad. http://www.spaturbousa.com
